If you have any special requests, requirements or needs, please contact us and we’ll do our best to be accommodating. We are always willing to go above and beyond to provide our guests with an unforgettable and relaxing get-a-way. The Inn of the Six Toed Cat is committed to showing all of our visitors what a genuine Southern Iowa country Inn is all about.

Our bed and breakfast strives to provide our guests with a seamless and uncomplicated stay. It is our goal to be your number one choice for Midwest lodging. Furthermore, as the most reputable B&B in Allerton, we must create a pleasurable environment that all of our guests can enjoy. Therefore, we have a few simple and straightforward polices that all of our guests must adhere to. All of the policies can be found below. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Advance Reservations are recommended. Credit card required to hold the room.

Room Rates are based on 1-2 occupants per room.

Check-In time is 4 pm -7 pm

Room Check-Out time is 11 a.m., but you are welcome to stay in the lounges and relax as long as you would like.

We ask that you please adhere to our check in/out times. If you have to check-in early or late we ask that you would let us know as early as possible.

Extras - Pack-n-play: $5/night     Roll-a-way cot: $15/night.  Click Here to request pack-n-play or cot, or mention it when you book a room. Please reserve at least 24 hours in advance. The earlier you reserve it the more likely they will be available.

Meals - Breakfast is included with your stay. To add an arrival dinner to your stay, you need to let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Dinner is only $20. It includes: Soup or salad, main course, desert and drink. Our Welcome Mat extends out to families, sportsmen, workers, business people, visitors and people needing long-term accommodations.

Smoking - For the enjoyment of all our guests, smoking is permitted outside only.

Pets - Are welcome, but please have a crate. They are not to be left in the room unattended without a crate.

And now we come to the part that everyone hates to discuss, but as we are a small B&B we must add it to the policies. I give you the dreaded Cancellation policies.

Cancellations Credit card is required to hold the room. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival date, otherwise the first night plus tax will be charged to the card on file. 

No Show Your credit card will be charged for the first night per room reserved.

For Groups (3 or more rooms) – Credit card is required to hold the rooms with a non-refundable 20% deposit. Cancellations for groups must be received 1 week prior to scheduled arrival date. If you are a no show and do not cancel your reservation for a group not only is the non-refundable 20% charged but a first nights stay for one room is also charged to your card.

Cancellations for extras If you have scheduled any additions on to your stay such as, mani-pedis, massages, arrival dinners/platters or any other extras that we offer, you must cancel 7 days prior to your arrival. If you cancel within the 7 days you will be charged 50% of the extras you signed up for.
